AFRICA

This is coming 3 months late...but better late then never! Cam and I got to go to Niger, Africa, on of the poorest countries in the world. We experienced so many different things and were able to go to local orphanages, schools, and best of all we got to meet our compassion daughter who we sponsor through compassion international! It was such an incredible and humbling experience!

What's New?

A lot has happened since I last updated this blog! Cameron has finished and released a new CD "Stars" that is just truly amazing!! From that we have been traveling around doing a lot of shows which has been fun! The Reel had a CD release party which had a turn out of around 400 people which was awesome!

We have also had a lot of fun going up to Tahoe and swimming and bike riding, we have to fit in some "us" time every now and then! We have just been having a blast and are excited to see what each new day brings!

Courage House Tour

Here are some pictures of our trip to southern CA. We didn't have a lot of free time but we did make it to the beach!





Once again The Reel took us on vacation for a tour in Southern California! We started in LA and made our way down to San Diego. The boys are involved in a Human Sex-Trafficking movement to build homes for girls who are being sold several times a day. It has been such a blessing to be part of something that is doing such good in our world!

Snow Camp with The Reel

Cameron's band was asked to play for a youth snow camp weekend event. So we all headed up to the snow for a cold old time! Our friend Emily got some cool and funny pic though!

SNOW

Tonight we got our first snow!! It is very exciting! Cam and I were so excited that we jumped in our car at midnight and drove to a nearby church and started doing doughnuts in their driveway! Our puppies love it too!!

Thanksgiving

Cam and I had Thanksgining at his dad's house this year. It was very nice and the weather was incredible! it was the perfect thanksgiving setting. Cameron was the family photo guy, as usual, and took some great pics of the fam.

Band Girls

These are the wives and girlfriends of the guys in cameron band! This is what we do when the boys are waiting to play...sometimes we get board!

Joshua Fest

Cameron and his band The Reel went and played at this festival where you camp out for the weekend. There were like fifty other bands there and maybe about a thousand people! His band was there to play on the medium stage area but they got such a huge crowd and were loveed so much that the head of it all decided that they belonged on the big stage with the big bands!! After their show on the big stage they had a line of poeple wanting their autographs and wanted to buy their stuff! That lasted for about two hours after they had finished! It was so awesome! Now they are being contacted by people wanting them to play at other big events! I was so proud of Cameron and the band!

It was an happy early birthday present for cameron!!

Fallen Leaf Lake

Cameron and I took a day trip to a new lake up by Tahoe, rented an fishing boat, went out on the town, and just had a great day! The lake was beautiful and since it was about 104 degrees in Placerville Tahoe weather felt just perfect! It was a great adventure!
